AI Innovation Services LTD is the data controller for personal data processed for DesignLive where it determines the purposes and means of processing.
2. Data We May Process
Depending on how DesignLive is used, we may process account and profile data, email addresses, authentication information, service communications, project metadata, uploaded assets, generated designs, usage information, transaction and subscription information, support requests and technical connection data.
3. Account and Authentication Data
Account functions may require information such as name, email address, password credentials in protected form, verification records, password-reset records and session information.
Authentication and security records may include creation and expiry times, login-related information and technical security events.
4. Designs, Projects and Uploaded Content
When users create or edit a DesignLive project, DesignLive may process project content, design state, layer information, metadata, thumbnails and uploaded assets to provide editing, storage, download, recovery and production functions.
5. AI Processing
User instructions, prompts and relevant project information may be processed by AI systems and technical service providers where necessary to generate or transform requested design content.
Only information reasonably required for the requested functionality should be submitted. Users should avoid including unnecessary sensitive personal information in prompts or uploaded design material.
6. Payments and Subscription Data
Where paid DesignLive services are used, we may process information required to manage the subscription or transaction, including plan, billing status, transaction references, currency, tax information and payment status.
Payment-card or banking details may be processed directly by an authorized external payment-services provider rather than being stored by DesignLive. The active provider and relevant information will be identified through the payment interface and this policy will be updated where appropriate.
7. Purposes and Legal Bases
Personal data may be processed where necessary to provide requested services, perform a contract, take requested pre-contractual steps, maintain service security, comply with legal obligations, manage legitimate operational interests, establish or defend legal claims, or where valid consent has been given.
8. Technical Logs
When DesignLive is accessed, hosting and application infrastructure may process technical information such as IP address, request time, requested resource, browser or user-agent information, HTTP status information and security events for delivery, diagnostics and protection of the service.
9. Local Storage and Browser Data
DesignLive applications may use browser local storage or similar technologies for functions such as language preferences, application state, project cache, session-related functionality and local recovery.
Further information is provided in the Cookie & Local Storage Policy.
10. Translation Technology
DesignLive is moving to pre-translated DesignLive content rather than relying on an interactive third-party translation layer. During the transition, individual legacy pages may still contain older translation functionality. Those legacy components are intended to be removed as the website and applications are updated.
11. Storage and Retention
Generated DesignLive projects and associated temporary design assets are normally subject to the standard seven-day DesignLive project-storage period unless another retention period is expressly stated for a particular service or plan.
Account, transaction, security, tax, contractual and support records may be retained for longer where reasonably necessary to operate the service or comply with legal, accounting, security or claims-related obligations.
12. Service Providers
DesignLive may use hosting, infrastructure, email, AI, payment and other technical service providers acting as processors or independent controllers where required to provide the service.
Provider information may be updated as DesignLive infrastructure develops. Appropriate contractual and data-protection safeguards will be used where required by applicable law.
13. International Data Transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards required by applicable data-protection law will be used where necessary.
14. Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, individuals may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to certain processing.
Where processing is based on consent, consent may be withdrawn for future processing without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
15. Privacy Requests and Complaints
Privacy requests may be sent to support@designlive.org.
Individuals also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection supervisory authority. For AI Innovation Services LTD in Cyprus, this is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of Cyprus.
16. Security
DesignLive uses organizational and technical measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorized access, accidental loss, alteration and misuse. No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.
17. Policy Updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated when DesignLive services, infrastructure, providers or legal requirements change.
