Privacy & Storage

Cookie & Local Storage Policy

Information about cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies used by DesignLive.

1. Browser Technologies

DesignLive may use cookies, local storage, session storage and similar browser technologies where required for operation of the website and DesignLive applications.

2. Essential Functions

Essential storage may be used for authentication, security, session handling, application state, project recovery, technical preferences and functionality requested by the user.

3. Language Preference

A language preference may be stored locally so DesignLive can display the selected language during later visits.

4. Project and Editor Storage

DesignLive engines may store temporary project state or local recovery data in the browser. This allows functions such as restoring editor content or maintaining application state.

Removing browser storage may remove locally cached application or project information.

5. Legacy Translation Technology

Some legacy DesignLive pages may temporarily contain older translation functionality that can set translation-related browser data or connect to an external translation service.

DesignLive is replacing this mechanism with pre-translated content. This section will be removed or updated when migration is complete.

6. Analytics and Marketing Technologies

DesignLive does not intend to activate non-essential analytics, advertising or marketing tracking technologies without the consent required by applicable law.

If such technologies are introduced, the consent interface and this policy will be updated to identify the relevant service and purpose.

7. Managing Browser Storage

Users can remove or restrict cookies and locally stored website data using their browser settings. Blocking essential technologies may prevent parts of DesignLive from functioning correctly.

8. Updates

This policy will be updated as DesignLive's website, applications and technology providers change.
